Climate & 2023 Vintage

The 2023 vintage was characterized by a dry and warm growing season with intense heatwaves in the summer. The winter was cold and dry, followed by a mild spring with limited rainfall.

Thanks to the old vines, the grapes were able to ripen optimally despite the drought. The harvest started at the beginning of September under changing weather conditions and was carried out entirely by hand.
