Description
The Pellirosso Negroamaro I.G.P. Salento is an authentic expression of Salento's most iconic grape. The name Pellirosso refers to the thick skin of the Negroamaro grape, which is responsible for the deep color, powerful structure, and intense fruit expression of this wine.
In the glass, the wine shows an intense ruby red color. The nose is characterized by aromas of blackcurrants, ripe cherries and plums, complemented by subtle Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it presents itself full-bodied and harmonious, with soft tannins, a pleasant spiciness, and a nice balance between fruit and freshness.
A classic Southern Italian red wine that perfectly reflects the warmth, character, and hospitality of Puglia.
