Tasting Notes
Colour: deep, concentrated dark ruby red with bright brilliance.
Nose: explosive and complex aromas of ripe black fruit, toasted notes, minerality, and refined oak influences. Intense aromas of dark cherries, plums, cocoa, toast, and subtle spiciness come together in an impressive bouquet.
Taste: powerful and full-bodied with exceptional concentration and finesse. Ripe dark fruit, spices, toast, and mineral notes are supported by perfectly integrated tannins and fresh elegance. The 24 months of aging in new French oak give the wine extra depth and harmony. The extremely long finish continues to develop in the glass.

- Manual harvest in small crates
- Very strict grape selection
- Temperature-controlled fermentation
- Grapes cooled to 4°C prior to fermentation
- Very long maceration of approximately 30 days
- Daily pigeage for maximum extraction
- 24 months aging in new French oak
- Additional bottle aging of about 1 year
Producer
Bodegas Coral Duero was founded in 2003 by Jesús Fernández, a visionary entrepreneur with a background in the maritime sector. Without prior wine experience, he invested in some of Toro's oldest vineyards, modern facilities, and the best expertise with one goal: to create the best wine of Toro.
The first successes quickly followed with international awards, including a Gold Medal at the Wine & Spirit Awards and 93 Parker Points for Rompesedas. Today, the winery is managed by a young team of wine specialists who continue to build on the original vision.
