Tasting notes
Colour: intense ruby red with deep reflections.
Nose: expressive aromas of ripe cherries, plums and dark red fruit, combined with floral notes and subtle spiciness.
Palate: full-bodied, warm and harmonious with a velvety structure. Ripe fruit and soft spices are supported by a beautiful body and round tannins. The finish is smooth and persistent.
Structure
Full, warm and soft with round tannins and a harmonious balance.
Aging
Aged on fine lees in stainless steel tanks followed by 6 months of bottle aging.

Excellent to drink now, retaining freshness and fruit expression.

From Apulia (Puglia), Southern Italy, on hilly vineyards between 300 and 400 meters altitude.

The warm Mediterranean climate of Apulia ensures optimal ripening and concentrated grapes with great fruit intensity and softness.
Cultivation & Method
- Guyot pruning system
- Organically managed vineyards according to Reg. (EC) n. 834/2007
- Manual harvest in small crates
- Fermentation with indigenous yeasts
- Maceration of approximately 10 days
- Temperature-controlled fermentation below 24°C
- Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks
- Aging on fine lees for extra softness and structure
